Advice

With many years of experience, I offer workshops, advice, drawing and painting lessons, fun, ideas, guidance, mediation and curatorship. I was on the committee of the BKVB fund, the Kunstenbond and the AFK, on art committees of various municipalities, on the admissions committee of the Sandberg Institute, awarded oeuvre prizes, wrote articles for newspapers, purchased work for Kunstuitleen. I am a Rijks-committed, have experience as a curator and have taught at almost all Dutch art academies, and at primary and secondary schools worldwide, including in Bulgaria, Suriname, Aruba and Thailand. I know how to make books, have a mega extensive network and regularly give drawing lessons. All very stubborn, imaginative and enthusiastic. For both amateurs and colleagues.

A workshop lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. of work.

  • Drawing and painting for beginners and advanced students. Brainstorming for new ideas. Helping to realize a book. Discussion of the artist’s career. Tips for grant applications. A good conversation with the artist. Dancing with the artist. Beach walk, guided museum visit.
  • Workshops on location: company team day, school, nursing home, arts centre, museum, academy.
  • As a special and original part of your team day, celebration or outing with friends: a lasting gift and memory for your colleague, friend or family member.
  • For beginners or advanced students who want to take lessons at their own level.
  • Private lessons all-in € 150,- incl. VAT. Sale € 95,-.
  • Duos/groups of 2-5 people: € 69,- per person.
  • Groups of 6-14 people: € 39,- p.p.
  • Groups of 15-50 people: € 29,- p.p.
  • Students etc.: ask for a discount or return service.

Travel expenses from my studio (Herenweg 193, 1934 BA Egmond aan den Hoef) are € 0.21 per km. I bring all necessary materials, but no overalls and no easels.
Material of good, durable quality is included:

  • Various types and sizes of paper for drawing/painting
  • Drawing can be done with pencil, colored pencil, pastel chalk, ink, etc.
  • Painting is done with quality acrylic paint.
  • Good coffee or a good glass of wine.
    In 2 hours you are guaranteed to have a pleasant piece of work.
