Description

See how Moritz made this sculpture: Pussycat Sientje

Sisi was surrounded by animals for most of her life, especially cats. This is a depiction of her favorite cat. It lived for 16 years, and when Sisi was traveling her maids spoiled the cat.

This cat exists of three parts with snakes that symbolize the slightly cruel jokes the empress would make.

Clay is fun. I once spent 3 months at the EKWC where I clayed a lot of vases and free forms in addition to a formula 1 car accident. Last year I started again with small ones, now I mainly work on animal-like mythical creatures.
This work here is inspired by my own cat Sientje.
