Der Schal aus Bhaktapur, Langnau im Emmental und Egmond aan den Hoef
“For Moritz Ebinger, freedom of expression is integral to his art. He uses a wide range of forms and media for his visual works, objects, and experiences. In his latest project, his drawings and thoughts are condensed into a scarf. The exceptional scarf, made from 100% Merino wool, was created in collaboration with designer Gaby Stranner from Langnau in the upper Emmental. Their creations combine beauty with practicality, comfort with durability, and traditional craftsmanship with modern designs. They work closely with family-run businesses in Nepal. The handwoven scarf was made in a workshop in Bhaktapur under fair conditions. The drawings were applied with hand screen printing. An 18-karat gold thread bridges the works of Moritz Ebinger surrounding gold. These intricate scarves (1.06 x 1.06 meters and 1.06 x 1.80 meters) are available for direct order from Moritz Ebinger.” They are also available in select Swiss boutiques, listed at www.Gabystranner.ch.
Additionally, I’ve collaborated with one of my oldest and dearest friends, Gaby Stranner from the Emmenhal, to design a beautiful scarf made from 100% Merino wool. At my request, real 18-karat gold threads are handwoven into it. This shawl, bedspread, or scarf is available for order now, with delivery in September. Reed about ensuite_267_März_2025 Karl
