Wall drawing ‘Zwaan Kleef Aan’ (From the tale of The Golden Goose: the stick-on effect).
The New Vide, Haarlem, 2011/2012.
In 2011, as curator of De Nieuwe Vide in Haarlem, I showed work by 150 artists. I initiated the ‘Zwaan Kleef Aan’-project, an ever-expanding wall drawing on all walls, floors and the ceiling, which transformed the exhibition space from a white box into a teeming play field of pencil, paint, chalk and objects. The wall drawing found its way into the space and made a connection with the artwork in the temporary exhibition. It also became a way for artists to meet whilst working together on the wall drawing.
