Documenta Performance

Goudpak Performance in samenwerking met Critical Art Ensemble. I had the audience embroider on me with borrowed gold thread. I brought with me 24-carat gold spun in thread, with a value of approximately 25.000 euro. I presented the goldthread unprotected, placed on a scale, so the public could see how much it is and estimate its value. With this performance I explored the greed that gold ignites in people – both in myself and in the public. documenta13, Kassel. 2012.
