…The most important is the sluice box. The wet soil mixture is sprayed in so that the heavier gold sinks in to the machine. From there on the sunken material is sent through multiple centrifuges which separate the ore from sand and gravel. The resting material (sand and gravel) still contains a lot of gold, and thus this process keeps repeating, refining the material every time.
